Distinction Palmerston North Hotel & Conference Centre

Central location, free parking. Breakfast was nice and lots of options. Room was very quiet and beds and pillows comfy. Everything seemed quite clean. Staff were very accommodating when we had to send someone else to check in for us as we were in a wedding. Easy to find our way round late qt night when we arrived.

Great location, friendly staff, fresh clean bedding and bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean with shampoo etc.... and there was plenty of coffee, tea and sugar. Off street car parking was great with easy access in and out of motel.

Karma (person on the front desk) gave us the most amazing service. He went above and beyond. His personality and passion for his job was absolutely wonderful. If only all customer service people were this incredible. He's an asset to your team. I'd employ him anyday.

Enjoyed our stay while visiting Palmerston North for the first time from Auckland 😊 As my son and I drove down we checked in early hours of the morning - later than expected and they had no problem with this update. The people were so nice - to the staff from reception, the cleaners, to the chef/kitchen staff - they were always friendly and kind and esp. during these trying times (Covid-19) it was so warm to see. Our room was clean & tidy and although most of the time we were out the whole day and most of the night, i appreciated the fresh towels each morning. The buffet breakfast was delicious and we always looked forward to our mornings because of this lol Surberb location to walk the city streets. Definitely will book again next time we are in Palmy. The room size is comfortable and good sized bed. The location is excellent if you're attending an event at the Central Energy Trust Arena. A boutique cinema is close by and some great cafes too.
